In my art project, I explore the theme of alienation through the lens of loneliness. I photograph portraits of people in their personal spaces, entering their bedrooms and dividing them into parts. This creates a sense of isolation and alienation, which is often experienced by lonely individuals.
In my works, I refer to the philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre. Sartre believed that loneliness is an integral part of human existence. He argued that we are born into a world where we are separated from other people and from ourselves. This division creates a sense of alienation and loneliness.
I believe that my works help us understand the nature of loneliness. They demonstrate that loneliness is not just the absence of a partner. It is a complex psychological state that can be caused by various factors.
